Marky Ramone, the last living longtime member of the Ramones, author of the upcoming Punk Rock Blitzkrieg: My Life as a Ramone , and host of Punk Rock Blitzkrieg on Sirius tells us about his favorite holiday song.

“My favorite holiday song is from the Phil Spector Christmas album (A Christmas Gift for You From Phil Spector): “White Christmas” by Darlene Love. It’s just an onslaught of every instrument you can think of in the studio with [Phil Spector’s] Wall of Sound behind it and the great drumming of Hal Blaine, who played on more #1 hits than anyone ever. He was in the Wrecking Crew and these people were responsible for playing behind so many bands from that era. His drumming is amazing, and it’s just a beautiful cover of that song. I usually take that album out around this time of year and play it all the way through. It’s rock ‘n’ roll, not these corny, schmaltzy things from the 1930s.” —Marky Ramone
