We’re still processing the news that Tommy Keene died (peacefully) in his sleep early Thanksgiving morning.
Tommy’s music was smart, catchy, carefully crafted, and a great discovery we’d love to lay on anyone who claimed to be a fan of early Beatles, Byrds, Big Star, or Tom Petty. He stayed committed to the cause, and reliably gave us exactly the kind of music that made us fall for him in the first place. A few of the folks involved with Trunkworthy were lucky enough to cross his path, benefit from his kindness, and even call him a friend. He was a truly kind soul and will be missed by all who knew him.
